Lodge Occupancy

This control is always used by book-by-bed lodges.

It can be turned on for individual lodges that are book-by-room as well, using Configuration Item CONTROL_LODGE_CAPACITY.

Once you turn on CONTROL_LODGE_CAPACITY you can control the maximum number of guests by editing each Season Period and enter the number:

Note that guests with tariff types that do not occupy a bed are not included in the count.
Same applies to Tariff Type marked as “Empty Bed“.

For book-by-room lodges that turn on this control, and additional row shows at the bottom of the booking matrix, showing the capacity currently available on each night (number of guests). This helps to make the matrix legible, when a room may be available but no capacity exists. Attempting to book the room will result in a message after clicking “next” and the booking cannot progress.
