You can prevent members, and non-members from booking before a set date.
Set opening dates on Season Periods. Someone with an entry in the member database, whose Member Class is marked as “non member”, will not be able to book prior to “Public opening date”.
Admin with Role BOOKINGS can book for a member or the public prior to these dates, no warning is issued.
Another use of the Public Opening date is to prevent members from including non-members in their bookings before this date. If Configuration Item SHOW_NONMEMBER_BEFOREDATE is set to YES, then members cannot include guests before the date. Note that setting a “Public open date” in a season period does not enable bookings without a login. Use Role BOOKINGS_MAKE for this and see Who Can Book.
