Demonstrating your PCI compliance.

eWay requires you as the merchant to demonstrate PCI compliance annually.

eWay will enroll you in their Merchant Trust Initiative, which is a third party provided service which gives you a process to easily demonstrate PCI compliance. eWay passes on the cost of MTI in your annual billing.

As an alternative to the MTI, you can prepare the required document using the Booking Service here, the process is simpler and you avoid the cost of MTI. This will produce the SAQ document as a PDF. Note that you need to explicitly exit the eWay MTI to avoid the cost there. Once you produce the PDF using the Booking Service, no further action is required. In the event of a breach, the Booking Service has a dated record of your SAQ which you can produce as a PDF. You receive a reminder 11 months after completing the SAQ to do a new one.
