Merchant Trust Initiative

Demonstrating your PCI compliance.

eWay requires you as the merchant to demonstrate PCI compliance annually. This is a simple task because The Booking Service software is certified PCI compliant and you don’t hold any credit card details (but check your Mail Order / Telephone Order procedures).

eWay will enroll you in their Merchant Trust Initiative, which is a third party provided service which gives you a process to easily demonstrate PCI compliance. The Booking Service uses MTI to demonstrate compliance, so we are familiar with the process and can provide you with support. eWay passes on the cost of MTI in your annual billing.

As an alternative to the MTI, you can prepare the required document using the Booking Service here, the process is simpler and you avoid the cost of MTI. This will produce the SAQ document as a PDF. Please note this is beta at this stage while we get the process approved by a certifier (expected later in 2023).
