Vanity Domains

You can use your own domain name for bookings.

Your Booking Service always has an address like https://{yourclub}.cbdweb.net but you can also ask us to set up https://bookings.{yourdomain} or https://{yourdomain}/booking (the latter only applies if we host your wordpress website, or if you don’t have any other website using your domain name).

If we host your DNS, we set it all up for you – nothing for you to do. Otherwise, here are the steps for you to take:

1. Find out how to edit your DNS. This could be part of the control panel in your website hosting, or less often, it’s provided by your domain name registrar.
2. Create a CNAME record:
   bookings.{yourdomain}
   with value {yourclub}.cbdweb.net (the latter is the address you are currently using to access your Booking Service). {yourdomain} is just the interesting part of your domain name, for example if your website is at https://www.skiclub.org then {yourdomain} is skiclub.
3. Once this is done, let us know and we can switch on your new vanity domain. The old address will redirect automatically, so everything will keep working without anyone needing to do anything different.
