Setting up for a new Year

Typical tasks include setting Season dates and updating tariffs.

You might also have specific tasks in your own procedure guide, here we cover the general steps for all clubs.

To create next year’s Season Periods, edit each current year season and click on the button: . Tick the box to add one year. The dates might need adjusting, for example, your seasons might start on a Friday night and end on a Thursday night. Everything is copied so you won’t forget any rules or settings. When you edit dates, after you save, the calendar bars above are updated, so you can see if you left any gaps or overlaps.

The new seasons will refer to existing Tariff Sets. You can also make a new copy of each Tariff Set, this is not strictly necessary, but it does retain last year’s tariffs which affects your view of an old booking. If you update the existing Tariff Sets instead of making a copy, old bookings will show the updated calculated price when you view them, but pricing and transaction data is not changed.

If you do make new copies of Tariff Sets, include the year in the title, and then edit each of the new Seasons to link to the new Tariff Sets.
